    First kydex holster build

    I decided to make my own kydex holster and one for a friend
    mine is the glock finished and his is the kimber 1911 not finished yet Click image for larger version

          Knife kits . Com 10$ for 12x12 square will do 1 holster

            Heat the kydex in a toaster oven to 325 I used a laser thermometer then press it in foam for 15 min to form one side then heat the other and repeat but leave the first side on the gun

            My press is just foam between plywood ratchet strapped to hold the pressure

              Then shape it with sander and hand sand for finish belt clips made with a small jig out of same kydex knife kits . Com has all the stuff u need to get started cost me 90$ for 4 12x12 sheets and the eyelets screws foam and eyelet setter but now each holster will cost 10-15 $ depending on the color kydex I want
