    wooden tankard build along

I accumulate a lot of scrap wood from making bows and stuff, and since I hate to waste wood, I've come up with lots of uses for scrap wood.

One of the uses I came up with was making wooden drinking vessels, especially tankards to take to renaissance festivals.

Somebody emailed me asking me to do a build along, so I just finished one:

I'm giving this one to a friend. The build along has a lot of pictures, just to warn you. I didn't put them on separate pages like I usually do. Here is the finished product:

Very nice! Would you trade the center one for a wing bone call???

That center one is pending right now. I made the bottom one (the one on the build along) for a friend, but he doesn't really like the Osage in it, so I said he could have that maple/walnut one. He's trying to make up his mind.
