    canning potatoes HELP

I have a bunch of new potatoes. Does anybody have a good recipe for canning/preserving them?

I just use the BALL Canning BOOK. Everything is in it. Walmart usually has them

just find a nice dry place and put them on news paper not touching and they will last a while. Around my place they dont last long cause we eat them up so fast.

Momma used to put the taters and onions on newspaper in the fireplace for the summer.

Be careful about storing them pototoes. Everything likes them, especially rats and mice. They will hide them in every crook and cranny, and then they will sprout when it rains. Ever seen a tater vine growing in a fork of a oak tree?
If you do store them outside be sure and sprinkle a little lime powder on them
