Thought I'd pass along this info here, although I'm sure many of you have seen the thread I started on the Botach clearance for Brunton optics.
Turns out the carbon fiber tripod they are clearing out is a real winner. I think it's a Benro tripod with Brunton's name on it. Either way, it's worth a lot more than what they are asking for it.
The pan/tilt head they have on it is just so-so, but if you pull that head and put on your photography head, I think you'll like it a lot.
It's replaced the Bogen 3221 I've used for 20+ years now, and it's a lot lighter.
