    1979 Ford prepping for paint

    Gonna be working on my truck all week. If all goes to plan it will be all primed and ready for paint by the end if this week.

      Haven't seen one of those with the bed side toolbox in years. My first truck, a 73 F100, had one of those and it was great. You could put a bunch of junk in it.

        Had two 79 Broncos. Wish I still had one. Great hunting vehicle. Good luck on the rebuild!

                  Man I hope your OK on that truck bedside I know the old ones have thick metal but that grinder even with 50 or 80 grit is gonna cause you problems.sorry not trying to ruin your thread but I'm just trying to help

                    Yep bad thing to use to take paint off of a car and its called a grinder for a reason. I can already see the high and low spots in the metal.

                      The passenger bed side is all bondo up and smooth and is ready for primer.
