I'm moving back to Coahuila from Nuevo Leon. Looking forward to hopefully having less lions and bears on the new ranch. Good luck with the move guys!

                  In.

What was everyone's year like this past season. It seemed like the deer were down & missing majority of the 5-6 yr old deer. Several of the guys I spoke with said the same around the Coah area.

Hoping for a rebound year this year.

Thanks for the new thread Bo

Worse year for me in the history of my ranch. Lost more of my 5 plus yr old trophy's than all years combined to the neighbors. I would have came out way ahead if deer didn't move on my end[emoji22]

Nearly all of my 6-7 year olds went down! Hoping for a banner year or maybe even an average year would be nice! Lol

Maybe I'm the outlier. I thought overall an above average year. I think the winter rains last year helped a lot along with a good crop of mature bucks. I thought most of the mature deer were about as expected or up some.

How much does it usually cost to shoot a 175"+ deer in Mexico & how do you get your guns to the ranch across the border?

                            Bucket List item, hunting Mexico.

I am in NTX and I go to the lease every weekend. How often do you make it to lease when hunting the other side of the wall, LOL.

                            Thx

Let's see I've hunted 20 years there and still haven't shot one that big! If you're only after that kind of deer, just stay in Texas. Because that's not how it works unless you want a paid HF hunt.
