For a 55 gallon drum on steel fence post legs, I'm thinking 30 degrees?
Does that sound right?

I use 25-30, typically closer to 25.

23, no more than 25...if the angle is too wide, the feeder will sag from the weight...

I used 22.5 for mine whether they are for feeding protein or slinging corn.....

30 is way to much. 22-25 would be best.
