    Wraps..

I am looking to remove some old arrow wraps and replace them, what is the best way to do this?

I use an old dull knife and peel them off.. pretty easy once you get it started... another way is to dip them in boiling water for a couple of seconds.. be careful of this one... too long in the heat will break down the bond between the carbon and glue in the shaft...

I always use a utility knife but they make several scrapers designed for arrows that take them off pretty quick.

I thought I had heard someone say one time that a hair dryer will loosen them up before you try to take them off

Just watched a vid on youtube where a guy was using a Bohning scraper to take wraps off.

I have the same one and the utility knife works better IMO

A quick soak in hot water works for me.
