Do I NEED a bigger truck?

I'm going to be broke for a long time with the purchase of a new piece of land but it comes with a 5th wheel Nu Wa Hitchhiker II travel trailer
(Not sure but I think it's a 29.5')

I don't intend to take it on major trips. Probably the occasional trip to dump tanks and maybe to a couple shows per year around Texas.
I drive a 2006 F-150 Super Crew with a 4.6 gas and 5.5' bed.

If it can handle it the next question is, should I get a 5th wheel receiver hitch (convenient but it takes up the whole bed of the truck) or a goose neck ball and an adapter (more hassle but more usable bed space)?

I really don't want to get another truck but do I NEED to?

I don't know the load ratings on your truck so, I can't address that. But as far the second question, I would strongly recommend the gooseneck approach.

Bro no that will not work with a gas truck. Buy a nice used OBS Ford to pull it.

I would say yes. not only for the load but that's a lot for that motor..sell it and buy a lighter bumper pull that would better fit your truck if you don't want to upgrade trucks

I had a 1500 and found after I bought a 2500 it was so much better! You “can” do it but I would recommend a bigger truck.

Ditto on not enough truck. If the weight is not too much for your trucks capacity, the wind its going to catch will finish it off. More truck or less trailer IMO
