New Jersey for one. My brother lives there, and he has taken way over the 5-limit here in one year. But, they do have several "seasons within the season," and has to buy a license for each season. I wanted to go up and bow hunt this year, but their winter bow season, I believe it is that one, ends the last day of January. I think they may have a season start -up in February though.
Aren't there states that are one buck states like Michigan? Or something like that. I was told SC is basically a deer a day. I didn't realize a lot of states had bigger limits.
Much of Tennessee is 3 does/day, although nobody kills that many obviously.
Parts of KY have unlimited doe tags. The area of OH I hunt is three deer total but IMO should be 30.
The areas of KY and TN where the limits are very liberal are largely agricultural areas where deer are considered somewhat of a nuisance, although that is changing as trophy hunting becomes more popular.
On the other hand, Texas MLD tags seem to be a unique system.

Exactly. What would one property line be able to kill more deer than the one next to it if the same size ? [emoji848]
Realistically, how many deer can you eat in a year? Serious question. If I get 3 it’s all I can do to finish them before the next season, but I know some families eat a lot more than we do.
