    Mr. Heater problem

I have a Mr. Heater and the pilot will not stay lite. Has anyone else had this problem and what needs to be done to fix it.

Think I saw a post on here a while back about someone pulling something off and sand it down. Can't remember exactly.

Might just be dirty, take a q tip put alcohol on it & clean out the line where the propane comes out of.

Sand the thermocouple to see I that helps. If the pilot light won't stay lit it is the thermocouple. You probably also have a clog in you tube to you main heater. Once you get it open its and easy check

try tilting it to the right so the flame is closer to the thermocoupler, I have to do mine that way. I think the coupler is bad but it works while tilted. May try sanding it.

Use a compressed air can to blow out the tube. Insert the straw in the tube and give it a couple of shots. Fixed mine.
