Are AR10 and AR15 trigger assemblies universal, or does the trigger have to be specific based on the caliber?

For the most part, they are interchangeable as long as it has the same pin size for the trigger pins which they usually are. I have the rock river arms 2 stage trigger on my ar15 and liked it so much for $89, I put one in my ar10 as well!
