Updated my Remington 700 ADL .308 WIN

This was the first rifle given to me by my father. It is a Remington 700 ADL in .308 WIN.

I did not want to cut, drill or modify anything on the action or barrel in case I ever decided to put it back to its original look.

It was on the list for the trigger recall so I sent it to Remington and got it back with the X-Mark Pro Trigger. Other than the trigger I used all bolt on components and here are the results.

These are the components I used to achieve the new look.
    1) Bolt on bolt knob by KRG
    2) Bolt on muzzle brake by Witt Machine
    3) Boyd's Gun Stock Prairie Hunter in nutmeg.
    4) Caldwell pivoting bipod
    5) Weaver Multi-Slot Base System - 97T for Remington 700 S/A.
    6) AccuShot Premium 30mm Weaver Style See-Thru Medium Porfile Rings.
    7) Allen Company Buttstock Shell Holder and Pouch.
    8) AIM Sports 6-24x50mm Dual-Illuminated Rifle Scope with Side Parallax.
    9) Vanguard Hugger 100C Black Rifle Sling.

I am happy with the new look.

Man thanks for this. I've been wanting to do something similar. I have upgraded my stock but the bolt and muzzlebreak are now on my list!

Thanks guys and I hope the info helps.

It was a budget build and like mentioned previously, I did not want to permanently modify anything on the action or barrel so I did the next best thing and went with bolt-on accessories.

Nice! Did the muzzle brake work as advertised? (Following)

Haven't been able to take it out to the range but I've seen it in action and it works.
Will post updates when I sight in the new scope.
