Default What snake in my coffee pot

Found this guy in my coffee pot this morning. Acted like a rattler as it lifted his head and shock his tail. Hope moms not around. Let it on its way

Head looks like a viper. Is it a baby timber ratler?







Also had this cool girl, first is have seen not green. Nice camo

It's some variety of a harmless baby rat snake.

Thank you for not senselessly killing it like many of the "outdoorsman" normally do.

Agreed. Not sure why so many hunters are afraid of all snakes and just kill them.
Some do end in death, but then I eat'em and tan there hides.

Here is a black tail that was too close to the cabin out in terlingua.

I'd be way less concerned with WHAT kind of snake & and far more worried about HOW THE HELL a snake got in your coffe e pot
