    nail polish?

I got tired of points getting loose. Simply ideas seem to pass me sometimes. I've used lock tight on scope ring bolts but never thought to use it on arrows. The nail polish was mentioned to me and I got to thinking about other things that would work. What have yall used and how did it work.
Lock tight has different strengths so does nail polish color matter, yes dumb joke.
Seriously what have worked for you?

My fingers. I just tighten them back up. Is a constant issue but after 25+ years I've learned to live with it.

Same here! It is second nature any more that I just check them every so often after I pull them.

        I over tighten everything.
        It's a curse I wish I didn't have.
I've twisted off, or stripped the threads on more things than I care to remember.

Points, and broadheads loosening don't seem to be a problem.
However, getting them back out sometimes is.

I check between shoots, maybe a good thin to slow down when practicing.
String wax sounds good not permanent.
              Thanks

That's right. More torque just means use a longer cheater pipe. [emoji4]

I use clear nail polish on scope rings and bases and string wax on everything threaded on my bows no problems.

I've been using string wax for many years.

Teflon plumbers tape like you use on pipe fittings.

                          Elmer's school glue.

It works pretty good for a soft set thread lock, but is easily broken loose when needed.
