In from the forest, got 6 bushytails for the effort. Saw more deer this morning than I have seen since I discovered the forest. Found some poke salad and looks like the last of the oyster mushrooms for a while. So tonite is ginger squirrel with mushrooms and a some poke. Home alone so no complaints.
Am going to try Lake Houston this week for some cats, then look at Conroe for the weekend.

Okay, getting to go to Africa this summer. Thought gun hunt only but PH told me to bring my bow too. I need to find a heavier arrow and stout fixed broadhead. Any suggestions or where to look up what I need?

That got cut out a while back. Now her presents consists of labor (clothes and dishes). So if that's spoiling her, then yep she gets spoiled a few times a year. 🙄

My brother in law has a friend that is retired from bowmaking and occasionally makes some when he feels up to it. The recurves were made by him. 50# 29" draws. Beautiful bows. Hoping I can score one. Here's a better pic.
