He looks to be 3 yr old to me. Always a guess, especially now through the summer. Once he thickens up in the fall he may looke everybit 4 yrs old. Not adding in the .5 since we are at the beginning of fawning season.

it is hard to age this deer, he does have a nice brisket, but very litt sway in his back, it he will be easier to judge later in the year. And that would appear to be a coon with him as well

            I can see that.

I was thinking skinny due to range conditions this year... But I definitely see what your talking about now.

Long lean body, small neck, long legs, brisket, and sway back... Goofy looking deer!!!

Its summer he's too lose in the brisket to be that young

Summer is too hard it's usually easier once we start getting a bit closer to October

Sway back, Pot belly. That is not a 3 year old deer. He is older. Has brisket and broad nose, notice how his hind quarters appear to be thin, similar to an old man who can't keep his britches over his back side. My vote initially before reading any other post was 5.5-6.5

now im going against the grain he does have a sway in his back a loose brisket and a slight pot belly for those of you that say hes three you have to remember this is a summer time pic of the deer he hasnt yet started gaining weight for the rut he is a mature deer probably 5.5
