Default Ground bow blind build

Started a new blind couple days ago to replace my popup that the sun dry rotted. It's 5x5 sq. And 6 ft tall. It will sit on a platform that is about 18" off the ground. Window opening is 12". But not sure on length of shooting windows. What y'all think?

24"- 36" pretty good but important is to have window placement for shooting not to high or low.

Ok so I have a office chair that I sit on. So should opening be 3ft in length? I was thinking of putting the bottom opening at 30" from bottom

Treated. ripped 2x4, then covered with treated picket fence boards. For the inside of blind I am going to cut up and staple on the walls the old pop up material

Sit your office chair in there, and set a target out at the same distance where your feeder sits.

Tack some thin paper or saran wrap on the window frame

Take a few shots with your bow, then make sure your window fits that space.

Thatís how I did mine.

18" off the ground, sit shooting, think somewhere around 30" from bottom should be good but test it just like ^^ said

Well guys I got it setup yesterday. It came out ok. Better than what I had before. I blackout the windows and stapled the old pop up material on the inside for an all black look. I didn't have much ground cover so I draped this netting. Blind is about 25ft from my feeder. Thanks for the input guys

That looks great. You did a good job. Have you taken anything from it yet?

Thanks. Yes my daughter shot a doe with her crossbow last Saturday morning, about a 17 yard shot. It was awesome. Still smiling and thinking about it.
