The aloha snackbars in Europe sure do get their hand on illegal weapons!

very true. the arms of 1791 are very different from today.

the intent of the 2A was to give a trained militia the right to carry the most sophisticated weaponry of the day. if a militia were formed currently we would have nothing with capabilities to take on the govt (military)

although as mentioned above, the military may in fact become the militia.

purely hypothetical of course

If you think this guy that shot all those folks couldn't or wouldn't have found another way if the slide fire, high capacity magazines or the terrifying "assault weapons" weren't available you're wrong. If you think the inanimate objects or ammo are the problem.....well....go take your medication and hug yourself for a little while. That type of mentality is just insane.

If someone runs a speed boat straight into a crowd of people having fun on a pontoon boat and kills every one of them...women,children,old folks and one handicapped person....who is to blame?

A. The boat because it's capable of a high rate of speed.
B. The deranged speed demon driving the boat.
C.Chase This!.....Because he has a boat.
Personally I think the answer is A and C because I believe boats and boat owners are dangerous.

One thing I will disagree with you about is the use of the phrase "original intent". With the Constitution, its Amendments and the Bill of Rights, there is no original intent; there was just intent and that was the purpose of the documents.

Well, Although he would need to be booted out of office for that. Employers would still be under no obligation to fire any one.

This debate has gone down a rabbit hole and done so by design. This is a matter of Rights vs Emotional arguments to step on said Rights. Let's not chase our tails trying to defend everything Trump has ever tweeted. Solid points have been made here and the distraction tactic is failing the ground being held here.

To further discount Chase This! on the numbers killed, with some of the bolt action rifles I own, 58 dead in 9 minutes doesn't seem out of the realm of possibilities. A PRS rifle fed with a magazine with quality optics and damage in the same scenario could be just as awful. 20 rounds would be fired before people knew which way to run. Charles Whitman taught us that.

Actually they are quite different. The NFL is a private organization so they aren’t obligated to allow it.

Gun control by Government is a direct violation of the constitution since the BOR limits the government, not private individuals.

If you are an originalist (I am) absolutely yes. When the constitution and bor were implemented, the government had muskets and so did the people. We’ve gone way off the rails since then.

Why has not a single employee come forward & said anything about any of this? From Sept. 28th to when the shooting stopped, some of them had to of had some run-ins w/this guy! Delivered his food, carried his bags, parked his car, watched him walk into the hotel, SOMETHING. Not one word has been spoken about this guy from anybody who saw/interacted w/him @ the hotel. That's odd.

Infowars has a story about a waiter that delivered him room service for two guest..also shows a date of the 27th on the receipt! On top of that, there are reports that he actually checked in on the 25th and didn't get the second room until the 28th.
