Default Las Vegas Mass Shooting

From Madalay Bay Hotel:
Most recent info, 50+ dead and 200+ wounded. I simply do not understand.

Apparently 64 y.o. white guy with no real criminal record. Motive is probably just a guy who snapped a twig.

I read on CNN's site that he is a former Secret Service Agent. A grain of salt is needed, I'm aware.

I don't wanna go all Alex Jones here, but the guy they are blaming almost seems like a patsy. Is there any other conflicting info out there pointing to possibly multiple shooters on scene?

Terrible event never to be forgotten but it was not a snapped and went crazy event.
Days of taking weapons up to the room, building a shooting table(of sorts) hundreds if not thousands of rounds, cameras set up to see police coming to get him. This man was mental for sure but not so mental he could not plan this event down to some sophisticated detail.

Something just doesn't add up. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it seems very fishy to me. An old retired guy that loves gambling and had not shown any sort of erratic behavior to family or friends? I think they call it a red herring, just thinking out loud. In any case it is a tragedy and prayers for those wounded and the family of those not coming home.

I have been holding back on my 3 possible scenarios but might as well do it.
Speculation is what we humans do

He either converted to islam

Decided to side with antifa and kill Nazi's,I mean the media has been portraying Trump voters as KKK Nazi's for a year and most country music listeners are likely Trump voters

Please wait for more facts about this guy to come out. We don't need the internet going viral with misinformation and creating a whole new myth for the conspiracist community to glom on to.

Given his lack of criminal history, it has crossed my mind this dude was used for his room then killed. I'm certainly not claiming he didn't short out and do this but initially, it doesn't add up to me. We shall see.

With all due respect, it may not mean that to you. To the next politician with the power to do so, it will mean taking guns away. It will start with the obvious scary "assault"weapons, then a few years down the road they will make the point that all semi auto guns could be changed to an "assault" weapon. Then when another shooting happens, using weapons that are already banned, they will cry out that rifles in general can be altered as well. It's just a slippery slope in my opinion.

If the Marxist, Socialist liberals could flip a switch and do away with the 2nd Amendment and our gun Rights, they would trample each other getting to it. The 2nd Amendment is their first target to make it easier to dismantle the Constitution and Bill of Rights and render them feckless.

Guns aren't the cause. If you truly have intent to kill and kill many, you will. Bombs are easy to make, we have recently found out how devastating a large vehicle driven through dense crowds and be. Plus, it's easy to obtain anything illegally. The guns used in recent terror attacks in Europe are illegal there. Didn't stop the guys.

If you intend to do something like this, you aren't going to be concerned with the legality of your method.

The even more harsh fact is, there have been people since the dawn of time that do really screwed up stuff. These things are just going to happen from time to time. Try to always be prepared to keep you and yours safe, because no amount of laws can do that. That's the harsh reality of the world.

to believe it does not is to believe that politicians raised by liberals, educated by socialist Marxist American hating people will limit their "gun control" to a couple "really bad" military type weapons. I cant make myself believe that for a second. Just observe how they act on a daily basis.

Yes, and it has always been such. It was even the case back in Franklin's day.

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Those Who Sacrifice Liberty For Security Deserve Neither. He who would trade liberty for some temporary security, deserves neither liberty nor security."

Those folks at the event are probably real lucky he did not jump into one of his airplanes and fly it into that crowd at about 120 mph.

Yeah. I've been hearing news outlets say that this is the worst massacre in U.S. history. Obviously this is terrible and devastating, but how soon we forget.

I'm not sure what you meant with your first line.

You may not know someone who openly admits they would like to see gun ownership banned but you do. Off the top of my head, I can think of three people I know who would rejoice in that very ideal. That is your typical liberal politician.

Who I don't know is anyone who would do the taking. Every military member I have asked about it said they would rather be alive in Levenworth than dead on a porch.

What other countries have these type of mass shootings?

I'm not for banning guns and suppressors I'm just curious why we as a nation have so many of these shootings like this.
Why America?
Why?

The guns are only a conduit for these folks to commit these heinous acts.
But many are starting to question should we even let this be an option for them?

Guess you haven't seen any news in any other countries lately? Europe mostly here lately. Tons of attacks. They just use buses, knifes and bombs.

Crazy people find ways. I personally am all for the banning of pressure cookers. We don't need them. we just dont.
