Default Traditional First Shot Challenge Week 40

This is a challenge we've done before, but it's a good one. Take a plain standard sheet of printer paper and put it on your target. No dots, lines, bullseyes, etc. Shoot for the center from a seated position at 15 yards. After you shoot, fold the paper in half both ways. When you open it back up measure from the center where the fold lines intersect to the edge of the arrow hole closest to the center. Closest shot wins the call for next week. Good luck!!

Not lucky Ryan. You put in the effort and you're a good shot. Congratulations.

Thanks man. My shooting is weird though. It's either really good (for me at least) or it's horrible. And I never know which it'll be from one day to the next!!

No reason not to try. Worst thing is you get in some practice in target acquisition. The paper is blank -- like a deer hide, but there may be clues to aim at -- a shadow or wrinkle.

Or do like me and use the force. Just close your eyes and will it to the spot.

Decided to shoot it with the new bow. Wasn't pretty. Elevation was dead on. Windage . . . make it 3".

Yeah but not worth a hoot. Dog came up beside me and head bumped my leg and first shot got flung way high. I stood up and give her hell then slung a second one standing. What you see is shot two. Here's the bigger picture.

I had just told my wife I was going out to shoot and not let them out too. Never heard her sneaking up on me.

Our adopted dog must have been around archers before because he stays completely out of the way until I call him to come. Previous dogs I've had were not at all like this.

Good shooting DRT -- especially that Widow shot when the dog wasn't messing with you.
