Default New 6.5 Creedmor

After mucho research, I finally decided to have someone make me a long range rifle. I wanted a reasonable price point and a reasonable turn around time. After talking to a lot of guys and kicking lots of tires, $5000 + glass and 8-12 months did not meet my wants/needs.

After some more digging I found what I was looking for. Matthew (Matty) Lindner put this together for me. It is a 6.5 Creedmor on a Curtis Axiom action with a Benchmark barrel. The stock is a McMillan adjustable Game Warden.

As for glass, I went with the Leupold Mark 6 3-18x44 with an illuminated reticle. I have another one of these and found them priced very reasonable (< $2000).

I am pretty excited to do some shooting. Matty did a nice 5 shot group with it today.

That's cool. I don't really know him, he was older, but I know some of his family. I will definitely look him up for a custom build. Awesome looking gun!

I like the hell out of that gun, and especially the stock. I had no idea you could get sporter-style stocks with adjustable cheek pieces like that.

pretty sure you have to be a member for 30 days or become a supporting member

you signed up on 9-21-17. A supporting membership is like $12.00 ... $1 per month
