I would love to but there's not a good tree at my small spot. The wind I usually in my favor on the ground plus I got my ozonic 300 to help with what might be lingering around. Today the wind was blowing my scent to my right a bit where the deer circled down and came within 13 yards of me with not really knowing what's up. I'm pretty confident they didn't smell me but did know something was up, plus the wind had them on edge as well. I rearranged ground blind a tad to make an easier shot window. I'll get her. Just got to be right. 13 yards is the distance from feeder to blind which I got to be super quiet...Love close quarter set ups.. close and personal...Haha

Bad idea. May get that spot marked for the race next year.

I like the suggestions, but am trying to strike a balance between curiosity and vandalism.

What I want to say, like when a dove hunter wanders in looking for dove under my feeder, is something entirely different..... but I understand the issues with public land hunting.

I walk in this morning and see a campfire going 50 or so yards off the trail. Had tp have been 1/4mi from closest primitive camping site.

Negative, went out tues and we'd and had deer both days. Morning sit #1 I learned that with a swivel chair I gotta remember the sight light on my bow is visible to the deer when I turn with my bow facing the wrong direction. I didn't know how she saw me until I looked down and saw I left light on and she was looking right at it!! Ugh!! She was a big one too, and walked away leaving a smaller one there I let walk. This was at 7:30 in the morning. I was kicking myself in the behind the rest of the sit. Next day the deer were just moving on by with no interest in my corn, but did see a cool fox chillin by my blind. Went by and filled feeder today as I was oncall and preping for next week.

Man thatís horse crap. Sorry that is happening. Hunters should respect your setup. Atleast here there are restrictions though on most public lands hunters will sometimes pick a tree almost next to you and hunt it with you in your stand. Atleast here we can set up feeders and permanent spots. You are always gonna have people tracking a wounded deer. This sometimes entails people crossing your trail. If there are true infractions though such as your like tearing your flagging tape down that is an infraction of the law and is a chargeable offense and should be reported to the game wardens especially if photo eveidence is available.

I know when I was tracking the doe I shot that opening Sunday I lost blood and as a resort to that I began looking for her and came across many setups 3 I believe I whistled to make sure no one was in them and continued my search. I understand your frustration agree itís disheartenig and frustrating. But I have killed 3 deer already this year. It to me is worth the hassle of dealing with the occasional @$$hole.

I hope you stick it out and venting is always welcome man. I hope it gets better for you.

Just got out, had a yearling and one borderline golden ticket but didn't want to take a chance at it being undef 21/2. They got as close as 8 yards which was pretty exciting. Had one big doe at first light but she didn't want to come in and play and the usual 11 point spike with the first set of deer in the beginning. Not to worried about not getting my punch yet....congrats to y'all who just got yours.
