Default I think we done good

After 2 years of hunting a NO DEER deer lease, we started the search for a new place. 5 months of searching led us to a place we think fits us. After taking the place several weeks ago we were in a hurry to find out what was there. We had the cameras out 1 week and picked up the cards Monday.
here is a little of what we found.

Love that protein feeder. Looks like the coons can't get to those tubes the way it is built. What brand is that, or is it home built?

Default Feeders

The protien feeders were on the place when we got there. They have been there a while. I think the name is Trophy Maker but I'm not sure. I have looked and can not find them online. They are a real heavy plastic and seem to be pretty Coon proof.

Good-looking young bucks. With some "let 'em walk" patience, you'll end up seeing some deer worthy of any man's arrow.

Thanks. That is the feeder and while it may not be coon proof and seems to be very coon resistant. About the only way is for a coon to jump up or for them to stand on top of each other(I have seen pics of that on other ranches)

We have about 2500 pics from the first week. I should get a copy of all of them this weekend. I will be looking for coons. We are not but about 2 miles from the Colorado river. There should be coons in the area.

Thanks, I know you did not ask to be the researcher on this feeder but please keep us up to date on this. Many of us struggle with keeping coons off protein feeders and this bad boy looks pretty darn tough for a coon to get to. Plus it is plastic so very light. That is one reason I like the Boss Buck feeder. Not too expensive and very light to move around.

Let us know how the coon response is.

Thanks, Ranchdog
