          Beautiful! Do I dare ask how you create the Damascus blade after the knife is shaped? I thought it was part of the forging process....I know very little about it though. Great job.

              I'm sorry but I don't think I understand your question. The steel is forge welded Damascus. You don't create the Damascus after a blade is shaped. That is what it is before the blade is shaped or ground.

                In one of the first pics of the unfinished knife, the blade doesn't appear to have the Damascus properties. The pic of the finished knife obviously does. I was just wondering how you accomplished that?

                  10-4. I etch in etchant and it darkens the higher carbon layers. Sorry I misunderstood the question.
