Kayak mod and GoPro mount

Made this out of PVC

Screwed the board to yak and then used a leash and Velcro to attach FF to the board. Board is painted with textured paint and pipe insulation.


I got tired of messing with the ratchet strap

I'd like a little more detail on the build. Maybe a quick DIY? That would work great yakin shark baits out.

45 degree elbow
1" PVC pice- find the right size for your rod holder. Too loose the camera will cause the PVC to spin

PVC plug to mount go pro mount. Now I drilled a small hole and used bolt, washer, and nut to keep the mount from falling off.

Paint specific to plastic. Wanted bright orange, but yellow turned out okay

I like it . Is it pretty stable for the surf ?

My cuda came equipped with 3 ramballs and a Go pro mount on the front . Ram has an extension swivel you can mount for a rear cam as well .

I have another boat that this would work with . Might try it out
