I'm sorry! You never know what you will find in a stave. I had one once that had a cord like growth from one end to the other. One of my best shooters. Laid the bowout with it in the center. Darn thing gave up a month before it was to be shot at IBO Trad Worlds. Keep them coming Robert. Arvin

I agree with Steve. Hope you did not ruin an edge on a tool. Found a piece of wire in one. Early rough out stave and had the draw shave pulling a little to hard. Literally chipped it.
