I was invited on a trip to west Texas, near Langtry a month ago, but just received some photos from the trip. Had a great time on a beautiful ranch on the Pecos, and was able to take my dad along. They only had one bow blind set up at the time, so I let my dad hunt that spot, which was right on the river. Fortunately they’re MLD, so I got out the Browning 6.5. My dad took a big doe with his crossbow, and I was lucky enough to take a nice management buck. He scored 146 3/8 and is my best deer so far, by a couple of inches. Another great trip with my dad and some good guys.
