Oklahoma Alfalfa feeder

Anyone had any luck with deer coming to a alfalfa feed station. Thinking a wooden covered station in SE Oklahoma.

We've had them come to alfalfa bales set out
A covered station would be nice and prolong the quality of alfalfa being put out

ive wondered about how it might work with a cottonseed feeder. if it were just a bale or two at a time, im thinking it would be ok except in standing water or a flooding rain.

anyone tried this or have an opinion?

I just bought a 2 bail alfalfa feeder and setting it up this weekend. 1 side i am going to put Chaffhaye and the other side a bail of regular alfalfa.. see what they like better.. i dont know how to post pictures of the feeder.

We did both the alfalfa and chaffhaye last year. The chaffhaye was more popular.
