Something happened to the 110 circuits in my shop. Lights are dim. Refrigerator and freezer are still working. Both air compressors come on weakly and then shut off. I hooked one up to a plug directly out of the breaker box and the same thing happened. Any idea of what could be causing this?

yeah, sounds like you have lost power. May want to check the control panel to see if any lugs got loose. Be careful though.Comment

If its an underground feeder to your shop your losing a leg. Take a volt meter and measure between both legs and neutral/ground. Should not be less tan 109V.Comment

Thanks for all the suggestions. It's appears to be beyond my pay grade to fix. I'll call an electrician on monday. My refrigerator and freezer are still running fine as far as I can tell. Will this damage them?Comment

You’re 220 wouldn’t work if you dropped a leg

I checked the box where the power comes in from the meter. The neutral connection has some corrosion. I don't have a meter to check it. It is above the main breaker so I can't shut the power off to mess with it.Comment
