Georgia bow hunt

Has anyone here hunted Georgia? Got an invite yesterday for me and my wife to go second or third week of September just didn't know if it would be worth taking vacation. I know any free hunt is worth it so save it

Ive been a few times for pigs and turkey in the spring. Not hunted deer.

Georgia is a terrific place to hunt.

I looked up the dates, starts real early. Chiggers, deer flys, and snakes might still be out.

I loved hunting GA. Seemed awefully similar to the Pineywoods of East TX, with swamps thrown in, but I was in SE GA. North GA and West GA are completely different. I'd say go for it regardless.

I know certain parts of Georgia have a high deer density. I've bowhunted in Georgia a couple of times. It could be a great bonus opportunity for you.
