My LBJ Grasslands Confusion

I'm going to write and get a map and a copy of the regs, but if I may, I'd like to ask a couple of questions:

Are antlerless deer permits required to take a doe there?

When the general season opens in November, is LBJ open to rifle hunters?

I just found the post that answers my questions.

No doe permits required.

And watch out for flying lead during the gun season.

be careful there...you are partially right...there are no doe permits during any of the seasons...you can take antlerless anytime during the archery season (till november 6th) and then you can only shoot does during gun season only on the 4 days of doe days which is the weekend of Thanksgiving...no does before or after that. And on LBJ it is archery/shotgun/muzzleloader only...no rifles or rimfired rifles...this is all new this year so be careful to read all the info before you "assume" what is right and wrong...assumptions get you fined!!!
