Today I Finally Dialed Them In

I've been doing my whitetail thing for a bit now.....spotting this bachelor group way out there as I worked my whitetail world, trying to close the distance. I got into position early today, playing off the knowledge, visual and timing of yesterday's close call. They worked in, following a cedar break on near identical timing....today I was ready!

400mm Canon L with the old trusty 50D. I leaned on the 1.6x crop factor of the 50D, zooming in with this big lens to cover today.

Wow. That is a nice camera. That is a pretty detailed photo of a buck licking his backside. Don't see that every day.hope you have fun with that thing. Looking good so far!
