Should be a lot of fun

My son and I may run up and hang out for a bit that Saturday. I live about 6 miles from the public ramp/Umphrey's so we could be at Jackson Hill in about 10-15 minutes.

Nice bait selection and any good fisherman can relate to catching them on artificial. Live for the thump. I like teaching new to crappie fisherman just how to fish with jigs.

Minners on the other hand imo are for kids or folks that are to lazy to learn artificial presentation or patients to learn.
Not above it just not my preference. Plus you don't stink like bait at the end of the day.

Seriously, I always wondered what a bass thought one of those big ol purple worms or black worms was when they hit it like they used to do... or better yet, what they thought those black jigs with the pork rind trailer was supposed to be... Back in the day, those things were deadly! Haven't gone after green trout in probably 35 years or more, other than the ones in my ponds at the house...
