Had this guy at my feet in Friday while turkey hunting. Didn't see him until sun came up. He never moved thank goodness. Very young.

Since folks are posting pics, here's mine of a Black-tail my son and I ran across in West Texas a couple years ago. He was crossing the road and we kind of maneuvered him over to the wildflowers on the side. I hope the OP doesn't mind us posting our own pictures on his thread.

That snake is gorgeous, great pic! The ones at the lease are all a light tan like the majority of that one. Never seen a blacktail though.
