I've got about 30 minutes before they come pick me up. Still no deer in sight. Looks like this one is going to be a bust for shooting anything. It was a little different than any other hunt I've been on and I like to try different things so it wasn't all bad. They said they may change things up a bit next year; maybe have fewer hunters with the same number of hunt sites. That way every site won't get hunted every day and they'll have a chance to rest in between. I think that is a good idea.

My son and I hunted there about 3 years ago and the staff encouraged us to use potato bags as a rattle. It worked great for hunters the week before us but our group didn't have luck. Just another suggestion if you're desperate. Good Luck!
