Been a long time coming

We've been so showing pigs from the time she was in third grade. Placed from 1st to 11th in that time. Never ended up grand or reserve, but had a lot of fun. She started showing steers along with the pigs in 9th and really had hell. It finally came together yesterday. 1st place ABC light weight.

Caught up in the moment and didn't even care. It was one of the few times that I've seen a Judge that seemed to actually enjoy it. He spent a lot of time with each kid. I'll find out later today.

This has been a strange year for us. We got lucky on 2 quality steers (@ market price) and some really good pigs at good prices. Then Shelby decided to graduate early so she can join the navy. She could have had one more year of this. Wish us luck.
