What Is a Good Brand of Brake Controller?

I need a after market brake controller. What is a good brand and where can I get one in the DFW area?

Tekonsha is what I had. Seems these were the best when I was looking.

Tekonsha Prodigy is what I had and it seemed to do a great job

That was several years ago, not up to date on them

Should be easy to find at any of the truck accessory places.

I know you're wanting local but I snagged a P3 on eBay during one of their 20 or 25% days and paid under $100 to my door

Depending on the brand of truck you have, you can get the harness as well. I bought mine on Amazon as well for my F-150 and it plugged into a connection under the steering wheel and it runs directly to the controller. No cutting, splicing, etc. True plug and play. It is awesome. They have a interactive fit selector at http://www.tekonsha.com. Just select your year, make and model and then it gives you the controller harness part number. Go to Amazon and search and presto.
