Went and bought myself a Jeep.

Sold the 1 ton Ford as I had no serious use for it and as a commuter I picked up a 1991 Jeep Renegade. Runs out well and it's fun so far. Hoping it gets good fuel mileage.

Great looking Jeep, but don't hope too much for good fuel mileage, probably in-line or worse than your 1 ton.

its not about miles per gallon its smiles per gallon
pull the top and doors. enjoy your commute.
fyi even my brand new 2018 with all the new "gas saving" features only gets 13-16mpg.

Never buy a Jeep for the MPG !! Its the fun per miles you get . May 19th go topless day at Port Bolivar , you wont regret it ..............

                        Man I want one bad.
But being 6’7" tall, leg room is an issue

I got 14 going to Dallas, little to no wind, and 13 coming home, head wind, running 33x12.50's.

I had a 2000 and the lack of leg room was a killer for me. I built new seat brackets that mounted the seat further back and it worked great. Seems like a I read somewhere that they make brackets now? You can definitely customize the seating if you find a Jeep you want.

Mpg is awful. And they are uncomfortable to drive on the highway very long. I guess it was an impulse buy? Lol. You can put some pretty cool stuff on them. Enjoy it!!
