    223 for Corsican ram

Taking my 13 yo daughter on a hunt for Corsican. Do you think a 223 is enough gun. If so what bullet. I’m thinking of 62 grn soft point

He will be fine with 223. I used my mini 14 to cull feral goats in hawaii. Plus, theyre not very durable animals.

That would work just fine even out over 100 yards with that 62 gr bullet.

Should e fine, my bil uses a .22 behind the shoulder to shoot a couple of the wilder, goofier Barbados (domestic corsicans) for bbq every year, drt every time.

Thanks everyone. Didn’t want her undergunned. I’m going to video and take pics only. This is all her as far as shooting

Sheep walk around looking for an excuse to die. 223 will kill the shiznit out of one.

I kill sheep all the time with that bullet. Longest shot was 182 yards. Dropped him like he'd been hit with a hammer.

                    .223 is a great choice!
