Hunting SUV Project (Pics)

A buddy and I bought a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder for cheap. Everything electric works except the radio and AC. We planned on using it for a vehicle out on Matagorda island in POC ended up not buying a acre out there this year with my first baby on the way. Therefore it will now be out new deer lease ride.



The 4x4 HI and 4x4 LOW both work as well. It is SUPER CLEAN on the inside.

Started and finished the rattle can paint job this week.

My wife made a stencil for my out of poster board. I used Rustoleum Earth Brown for the grass and the base color is Rustoleum Army Green.

I wasn't too worried about a meticulous paint job since it will be used on the lease and heavily in the brush. I painted the wheels flat black as well.

I removed the rear bumper and built a 'probably' temporary bumper rack to haul ice chest, gear, firewood, or deer/hogs. It is just hammered into the bumper brackets and screwed on. Gonna use a ratchet strap from the rear of the cargo box to the spare tire rack to give it some more support.

Just needed to add blood and mud and I was able to do that yesterday evening.
