Spring bear - semi live hunt

Great first day at DNA guiding in N. Sasketchewan. 10 different bears at the bait including one that came up my tree. He kept getting rejected by the sow and I guess he thought I was his nxt best shot. That whole make noise thing-doesnt work. They own the forest. Swift tap to the nose-doesnt work. Got a little dicey before he finally lost interest and decided to stop climbing my tree. The whole time I thought I had my steath on, ozonics working, camo working, skills playing out, etc. When I was screaming like a little girl I figured out they simply did not care. Again, they own this forest. More tonight or in the morning. Waiting on a big one.

Poke him in the nose with a broadhead. He will either scamper down the tree or drag you out of the tree and eat you. .

Good luck. I had the same exact thing happen to me a couple of years ago. I have been going every two years for 3 trips. I love hunting bears. Biggest excitement I have ever done.
