    Boot Cleaner

I got a pair of my late Grandpas Ostrich boots that I've decided to start wearing, just looking for some advice on how to clean them up. Seems like he used a ton of brown shoe polish on these boots and I'm trying to get it out since its made the leather discolored in some spots. I mostly just use saddle soap and Bick 4 to clean and condition my boots but that's not cutting it on these. Any advice from the green screen? Saw somewhere that rubbing alcohol can be used but want to see about some other options first. thanks.

If they are sentimental, find a boot repair guy and let him do the work. Would hate to mess up a pair of boots, plus the professionals can do it much quicker and look better.

I mean the boots aren't pristine by any means they have been worn for sure. I just want to try and get as much shoe polish off as I can. I Had considered taking them to a cobbler but was going to look here for knowledge first.

Bick 1 is a more harsh cleaner. Make sure to use Bick 4 after.
