What gun did you buy today?

One of my LGS has had this for about 9 months. I have not been there is about a few months.

Went by yesterday and it was still there. Made ad cash offer and 10 minutes she was mine. From 1954-57

Cleanest Hi Standard I have owned with all original paperwork and matching serial number box.

Broke it down and totally cleaned and lubed it. I believe the plastic grips have never been removed as screw at bottom was a pain in the *** to remove but got it finally.

I have never broken a hi standard all the way and surprised there is no part of the frame under the grips.

Will be going to Reds Range this week.

Couple old'ish Marlin 22s. One is the rare M1 99 modeled off of the M1 carbine. Cool little gun. Other is a Marlin 60. I think it was made in mid 70s.

Built not bought but believe it or not my first full AR build from scratch including cerekote. JP Enterprises flash hider came in with wrong threads so running thread protector for now.
