Back at it. Grabbed a couple of honeybuns and soke beef jerky, I’ll likely be at it all day today. The plan is to sit back where I have the last couple of hunts til mid mornibg then I’m gonna sneak down to the river and have a look in there. Theres a pop up not far from where I’ve been hunting that isn’t being used. If I find something I likd I’ll set that pop up in there and camp out.
It’s taking some time but I’m starting to get an idea on how the deer use that piece of property. Just a matter of time before I connect with one.Comment

Nice buck just ran a doe up out of the creek from the north. They were coming towards me and the little 6 that has been here every hunt cuts out of the woods to the east and all 3 left to the west.
Check that 6er is cruising back to the east.Comment

Doe just booked it across the field and I got a good look at the buck. 3 year old 7pt about 17” wide. Tall and framey, pretty dang nice deer. 1 more birthday and he’d be in trouble.Comment
