Luckily, I was able to photograph the exact same sheep a few days before the hunt. We had him and his buddy at 30-40 yards, and I was able to get a few hundred pictures of them. I consider it a once in a lifetime opportunity. What TPWD, TBS, and many other groups and private landowners have done for the Desert Bighorn can't be spoken about enough. They are an absolutely majestic animal and it is an amazing sight to see them on the mountains of the Trans Pecos.
100k.
100% of those funds back into TX sheep program.
Waterings, studies, transplanting sheep, etc.
Helping put more sheep on mountain in different mountain ranges.

Great picture btw.
His running buddy was a decent sheep as well.
Did you photograph any other rams? Group of ten+ rams together?
Thanks wtx. Wasn't trying to be disrespectful in anyway and I hoped I asked that way. Didn't mean to take it off track. I had just seen what the other state tags were going for this morning and it was very interesting to see what they went for. Montana went for a whopping 305k. Believe it gets triple matched by Pitman Robert's. Win win all around! Again sorry I should have skimmed over and not responded. Congrats again.
