Default Live North Oklahoma ďSage and CedarĒ

We have the truck loaded and headed north for the October 1st opener. Itíll be my first time to hunt up here. We have a pretty big ranch thatís family owned by a good friend. Looking forward to this trip and many more in the future. Thereís been some big deer killed on the past. Cameras show a half dozen mature deer 115-135 range so far. Should be a fun time. Stay tuned.

Wish I still had a place in OK. Even though you seemed to have caught the last remaining deer in OK on camera.

Nothing much new. Some younger bucks. Only checked a few. We stayed out of the areas we are hunting in the morning. Just got our license and now for a sleepless night waiting to hunt a new place.

Looks a lot like our place near Quinlan. How far are you from there? We have a bunch of freaky looking deer on our place.

Heck that last pic looks exactly like one of our spots except the feeder is a different color!

Iím wishing one would show up today. My buddy killed a 178 in 2012 and a 160 a couple years ago. The big ones are here, just none that we are currently chasing or on the radar.

Just climbed into our Valley stand. Itís a not fun getting into but man it looks good. Coons chewed through the auxiliary cord on the covert so weíve been dark in here for a month. Couple solid shooters on camera not far from here. Could be some new deer here. Corn was gone from the morning.

Iím in a big bowl, thereís a ridge behind me with a solid stand of china berry trees. Feeder is out front Hunting a 100 acres of crp, cedar and plum thickets
