Axis Size

I recently got on a new lease with exotics and am curious what size everybody thinks the axis in the pictures are. One is obviously bigger than the other, and I don't think either are shooters, but want to get better at judging their size. Thanks.

Hard to tell from that pic but I’d say the bigger one is 28-30”

One facing the camera is a shooter from what I can see. I think he is 30"+. General rule of thumb, when there head is down feeding and the antlers are even with their back, that is 30".

Smaller one in front is 23-24". Probably a 2 yr old, best I can tell. The bigger one behind the feeder leg is 30-31", and I'd guess 4 years old.

One closest is 26"ish and one facing camera is a shooter. What about that blackbuck??

Thanks for the feedback, that's kinda what I was thinking on the axis...mid to low 20s on the smaller one and pushing 30" on the larger one. Guess if i see him in person I'll let my trigger finger decide!

That blackbuck is probably 16", but I've got a much larger one on camera.
