      Good cut on contact should do just fine. I would skip the pistol for the follow up though. I prefer a short barreled 12 gauge with 000 buck and no plug. Spray and pray seems to work better in the heat of the moment, and a close range each pellet is like hitting him with a 9mm.

                              I tell you what, i have a brush blind about 25 yards and some change away from the pic, that will be what seems like an eternity just waiting for the right angle with him that close and nothing but brush between us.

                                Bad thing about hogs that size is they dont make many mistakes. Wind has to be perfect and sighting in daylight hours will be seldom at best. You will have to put in the time, but if successful what a trophy! Good luck!
