    Tires in Trees

This weekend while touring a lease, we saw a single tire hanging from a strap attached to a tree along side the creek. This was at most areas where the road crossed the creek. Anybody know what purpose this serves. East Texas paper mill land.

Training Pit Bulls to fight. They get them to bite the tire and then inflect pain to see if the will let go. If they do they get rid of it and go on to another dog. If you see bones from a K9 anywhere around then that what you have found.

Coon hunters will do that and put corn in them , it's a place to start the dogs

Which is why you found them along the creeks (natural corridors)

Swing across the creek to get to the other side when it gets high. LOL

Rim size? That alot of times can determine the size of the subject in said tire. If it's a 22 I probably wouldn't go back.
